Wear t-shirts and other apparel with a message of compassion.

Outstanding Activist!

Amy Monshausen hails from St. Louis, Missouri and is a dedicated mother of four children. She is also a huge asset to Farm Sanctuary. An incredibly talented and prolific graphic designer, Amy has done extensive pro bono work for Farm Sanctuary. Since 2001, she has offered us her considerable talents and expertise free of charge, even though such services could command her a great deal of money. Thanks to Amy's kindness, generosity, and giftedness as an artist, Farm Sanctuary has been able to touch the hearts and minds of countless individuals, who otherwise might never have heard our message of compassion.

Amy's greatest contribution to Farm Sanctuary has been her work on behalf of our black-tie Gala for Farm Animals events. She has helped fashion the simple, elegant look of all four of these extraordinary events by creating the designs used on Gala t-shirts, invitations, fliers, advertisements, and programs. Her original design for the event, used at the first annual Gala for Farm Animals in 2001, was so successful and so well-loved that we couldn't help but ask eagerly for her help ever since.

The Farm Sanctuary Gala brings dedicated celebrity supporters, compassionate business leaders, legislators, activists, and members together to celebrate the lives of farm animals and to build support for Farm Sanctuary's vital rescue, education and advocacy efforts. After every Gala, new activists and vegetarians are born and our efforts to end factory farm abuse are strengthened. These victories have been made possible by activists like Amy Monshausen, who have stepped up and helped inspire and educate others by using their talents to make a difference.
