Daniela Sea plays the groundbreaking role of Max in seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6 of "The L Word." She can also be seen in John Cameron Mitchell's ("Hedwig and the Angry Inch") "Shortbus," which swept the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. As an actress, she is known for bringing her eccentric life experiences to the screen. Raised by artist/surfer/hippie parents on the shores of Malibu, Daniela has been surfing since the age of six. Her earliest memories are of the ocean, and feeling a constant calling to lands and ways of life beyond the hills on the horizon. Daniela publishes her own books of poetry, speaks Polish, and plays accordion, guitar and penny whistle. She is a vegan and longtime animal advocate. She is currently playing music and co-writing a screenplay for a feature to be shot in 2009.

His book, entitled Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, was published by Touchstone/Simon & Schuster in March 2008 and has become a national best-seller.
Michelle Schwegmann is co-owner of The Herbivore Clothing Company in Portland, Oregon. Since 2002 Herbivore has grown from a side business run out of a closet to a 1,000-square-foot store in the world's only all-vegan mini-mall. Herbivore is where vegans shop for fashion, accessories, cookbooks, and anything else their cruelty free conscience demands. An admitted cookbook addict and obsessive foodie, there is nothing Michelle enjoys more than talking about, shopping for, making, and eating vegan food.
