Attention Boston Area: Join Us for Some Heartfelt ACTivism

Farm Sanctuary’s National Advocacy Organizer, Jasmin Singer, will be traveling to the Boston area for some ACTivist cheers, and is hoping to have your company!

First, join us for an activist meeting where we will discuss how to up the ante of your activism, and learn helpful hints for leafleting and other outreach tools. Share your experiences and connect with fellow animal advocates. Following the meeting, we will hold a No Foie Gras leafleting in Harvard Square.

Then, the following week, join us for another leafleting—this time in Beantown itself. We will be taking part in Farm Sanctuary’s international efforts to educate restaurants and the general public about foie gras cruelty, asking them to make the compassionate decision to Say No to Foie Gras.

All throughout the US, as well as in Canada and South Africa, Farm Sanctuary will be taking part in peaceful leafletings, tablings, demonstrations, and social events, as an effort to educate others about the horrors involved in the force-feeding of ducks and geese.

Help us spread the word to Have a Heart and Say No to Foie Gras!

Take Action for Farm Animals

Help Protect Downed Pigs and Other Farm Animals

In 2009, President Obama announced a new rule that prevents downed cattle from being slaughtered for human food. While this was a step in the right direction, the USDA has no rules in place to protect downed pigs, sheep, goats, other farm animals. Please take a minute now to contact Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and urge him to extend this rule to include downers of other species.
