Development Program Coordinator

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee Adopt A Farm Animal Project (AAFA)
    • Coordinate daily AAFA orders & fulfill sponsor packets
    • Send all sponsor correspondence
    • Maintain detailed records on all current sponsors
    • Coordinate animals in program, including maintainance  of photos and ensure animals are added and removed from program
    • Work with writers to create new animal stories, health updates, death letters, and other shelter writing
    • Co-coordinate bi-annual AAFA newsletter with Communications department
    • Conduct annual call project to program participants & thank you calls to $100+ sponsorship donations
    • Coordination of additional program upgrades as determined by Director/Manager
  • Coordinate Monthly Pledge Program (MPP)
    • Coordinate and process daily MPP orders
    • Maintain detailed records on all current MPP members
    • Coordinate annual postcard mailing to MPP members
    • Coordination of additional program upgrades as determined by Director/Manager
  • Manage AAFA/MPP conversion to Raisers Edge software; maintain/update protocol and oversee hard file transfer to Raisers Edge
  • Assist with other Development projects/tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Strong computer skills; experience with spreadsheets and database software required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Commitment to Farm Sanctuary’s goals and programs
  • Previous experience in an office setting required
  • Previous nonprofit experience strongly preferred.

Job Specifications:

  • Full-time
  • Occasional travel and flexibility to work some weekends and evenings required
  • Salary commensurate with experience; competitive benefits package.
