Responsibilities & Duties:
Staffing visitor center
Giving guided tours of the shelter
Maintaining visitor center facilities
Assisting with Farm Sanctuary events
Internet research projects
Phone call and correspondence projects
Local outreach projects
Qualifications:
Committed to veganism
Knowledgeable
of farmed animal issues
Knowledgeable
of vegetarianism issues
Good
communication and outreach skills
Hard
working and dependable
Able
to work well independently
Specifications:
Volunteer
commitment of 40 hours per week
Two
to three month commitment required
Available
May 1st through October 31th
Weekend and holiday hours required
Shared
housing available on sanctuary premises
