Campaign Department Intern

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist with researching issues regarding animal agriculture
  • Draft reports describing the problems associated with factory farming
  • Archive legislative and non-legislative campaign documents (involves filing and data entry)
  • Correspond with activists, businesses and others to advocate for positive change (involves phone call projects and written correspondence)

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous computer experience
  • Previous work experience
  • Previous experience in vegetarian and/or animal rights advocacy

Specifications:

  • Volunteer commitment of 40 hours per week
  • One to three month commitment required
  • Shared housing available on sanctuary premises
