Development Department Intern

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct thank you call projects to supporters
• Assist with the Adopt A Farm Animal project
• Data entry projects
• Filing projects
• Research, identify and develop new sources of foundation funding
• Research, identify and develop new corporate partnerships
• Obtain product donations

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and outreach skills
• Knowledge of animal protection issues
• Writing and project management skills
• Strong internet research skills
• Commitment to Farm Sanctuary's goals and programs.
• Related degree or work experience in animal advocacy or nonprofit preferred.

Specifications:

• Volunteer commitment of 40 hours per week
• One to three month commitment required
• Shared housing available on sanctuary premises
