National Animal Protection Experts, Celebrity Activists and Others Committed to Ending Animal Cruelty to Gather in Boston for Farm Sanctuary's Farm Animal Forum and Rally
Boston, Massachusetts - March 13, 2005 - NEWS ADVISORY: Farm Sanctuary, a leading farm animal shelter and advocacy organization, is hosting its Farm Animal Forum in Boston, March 13-14 to address the elimination of factory farming cruelty. The Forum comes to Boston at a time when two bills are currently in play at the Massachusetts State Legislature that would ban the force feeding of ducks for foie gras production and eliminate confinement in veal crates for calves and gestation crates for breeding pigs.
Media are invited to attend two key events during the Forum - the Sunday evening "Cowtail" party social and the Rally Against Factory Farming the following morning.
