If you are interested in our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour, please read the requirements below to be sure your school or youth program qualifies:

Cost of tour:
Our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour is free of charge to school groups or youth programs who apply and are accepted.

Group size requirements:
We will accept groups with a minimum of 10 participants for our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour. Groups of 35 participants or more will require extra help from teachers and parents. When you fill out your application, please be sure to note the size of your group and how many adults will be assisting the group.

Age requirements:
We are currently offering this program for grades 6 through 12. Students must be between 11 and 18 years of age to participate in our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour.

Length of tours:
When planning for our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour, please keep in mind that two hours is an optimal amount of time for school groups to take a tour. Please contact us to discuss your group’s scheduling needs.

Picnic lunch and snacks:
Picnics may be arranged and are encouraged as a meaningful part of your group’s visit to Farm Sanctuary. If you would like to arrange a picnic for your group, guests are required to bring their own lunch and all food must be vegan (vegan is a diet that excludes all food derived from animal products — meat, cheese, milk, eggs, and honey). If you have any questions or need assistance in lunch or snack planning, we are happy to help!

Space for our Cultivating Compassion Youth Tour is limited. Please fill out our application for your class or youth group today. Applications are subject to availability, and spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have additional questions, please contact Kelly O’Neil
