Farm Sanctuary’s Acton, CA, sanctuary offers the chance to connect with farm animals in a peaceful rural setting, all while just a short drive from Los Angeles.
This event will be held rain or shine. The event is held outdoors, so please dress accordingly and bring appropriate rain attire.
*** The Acton Celebration for the Turkeys is now completely sold out and we will not be taking reservations at the door.
Please check farmsanctuary.org for other events that we are offering. We will post information about 2016 events at the end of the year. ***
The Celebration for the Turkeys event will begin with quality time on the sanctuary, where guests can meet the amazing animal ambassadors who reside at Farm Sanctuary. Next, guests will gather for the Feeding of the Turkeys ceremony where the turkeys are the guests of honor and will feast on squash, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Afterwards, guests will hear an inspiring presentation from Farm Sanctuary’s President and Co-founder, Gene Baur and National Shelter Director, Susie Coston. The day will end with a festive dessert reception in our courtyard. Throughout the day, enjoy our farm-animal-themed silent auction and help us raise money for the sanctuary’s work.
Please note: This event is not the same as the Celebration for the Turkeys event which has been held in prior years. The popular Feeding of the Turkeys ceremony is still part of this event, but this event does not include dinner.
