San Jose: (Ongoing) Palomacy is always seeking homes for domestic pigeons and doves. These birds often are rescued from shelters where they were facing euthanasia. Kings Pigeons are sweet, innocent, gentle, and fun birds who have unfortunately been bred for meat and can’t be released into the wild. They make great companions and usually can be kept alongside most other companion animals. The pigeons must be adopted in pairs so that they can keep each other company. To see just a few of the many in need of homes, please visit www.pigeonrescue.org/ or contact Elizabeth directly.
