Barnyard Birthday Bash

On Sunday, April 9, bring your friends and family to celebrate the rescued animals of Farm Sanctuary. Although we don’t know the exact birth dates of all of our rescued residents, we set aside a special day to remember their stories and commemorate the day they arrived to safety at their new home.

Courtyard Activities
Short Presentation by Program Coordinator, Breezy Rondilone
Cake and ice cream
Help make a fruit salad to feed to the chickens to celebrate their birthdays

2 – 4 p.m.

Sanctuary time with the cows, pigs, chickens, and other rescued residents who call Farm Sanctuary home!

Activities occurring throughout the event ( 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.)

Event Speaker

Breezy Rondilone Breezy Rondilone is one of the few people to have worked at all three Farm Sanctuary locations, starting as a tour guide at our Watkins Glen shelter three years ago, then working as our Education Coordinator at our Orland shelter before transitioning to her current role as Program Coordinator at this location. Breezy oversees the visitor and volunteer programs at the Acton sanctuary and coordinates a number of our annual sanctuary events, helping to introduce thousands of people to farm animals. Breezy has years of experience educating the public about farm animal issues and has been fortunate to get to know farm animals in a way most people do not.

Please note: For safety reasons, companion animals are not permitted at this event.

Volunteers Needed:

Farm Sanctuary, a source of education and inspiration for thousands of individuals each year, relies on the dedication of volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers for the Barnyard Birthday Bash, and we would love to have your help!

Volunteers are needed to assist with all aspects of the event: setup, registration, parking, food service, cleanup, and more.
