The 2017 Hoe Down is sold out and the waiting list is now full. We hope to see you at a future event!
Join us on August 12 and 13 for Farm Sanctuary’s annual Hoe Down! Featuring presentations, discussion panels, and book signings by leading experts in the animal protection movement, this event also provides ample sanctuary time for you to visit the hundreds of rescued animals who call Farm Sanctuary home. Attendees are welcome to camp on our beautiful sanctuary grounds surrounded by rolling hills, preserved forests, and cheerful animals. The conference also provides many opportunities to connect with hundreds of other caring guests during delicious catered meals, a morning yoga session, 5K fun run, hayrides, a cocktail hour, and an evening dance.
Whether you’re a longtime vegan or new to animal protection issues, this is a great opportunity to connect with farm animals, learn more about conditions they face, and discover ways we can improve their lives. The Hoe Down holds a very special place in Farm Sanctuary’s history, and we’re excited to celebrate once again with others who are working to create a more compassionate world.
Hoe Down conference ticket prices include:
- catered vegan meals throughout the weekend, including lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday night;
- admission to all presentations and activities;
- and access to our camping area on sanctuary grounds.
