New York Summer Pignic

New York Summer Pignic

Farm Sanctuary invites you to kick off your summer with compassion by joining us for our Summer Pignic! This is a wonderful opportunity to try vegan alternatives to your favorite picnic foods and connect with farm animals in new ways. As we honor the animals who are now free to enjoy their lives at sanctuary, we hope our guests will also experience the joy that can come from putting compassion first.

Guests will enjoy a fun-filled day, celebrating pigs and other farm animals with activities including:

  • sanctuary time with the pigs, cows, chickens, and other animals who call Farm Sanctuary home;
  • a vegan picnic lunch featuring veggie hot dogs, potato salad, and more delicious vegan versions of your favorite summer foods!;
  • farm animal crafts, games and facepainting;
  • browsing our gift shop, which offers books, apparel, and other souvenirs.

This is a great way to introduce your friends and family to Farm Sanctuary and the animals who serve as ambassadors for their species. This event is intended for all compassionate individuals—vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike—to come together and celebrate the start of summer by showing love to animals. We hope to see you on Saturday, June 3 as we kick of the summer with caring individuals like you who bring love and life to farm animals everywhere.
