Orland Celebration for the Turkeys 2016

 Orland, California

Fall is a lovely time of year to visit our stunning Northern California Shelter to take in panoramic views of the Sierra foothills and participate in Celebration for the Turkeys. Farm Sanctuary guests will have the opportunity to personally visit each barn and meet the rescued cows, pigs, chickens, and other farm animals who call it home. At the highlight of the event, the “Feeding of the Turkeys” ceremony, you will be able to meet the guests of honor — the turkeys themselves. Help us recognize their worth as individuals who deserve respect and compassion by celebrating them at this event! This event has become a beloved Thanksgiving tradition for many people looking for a fun and compassionate way to celebrate the holidays. We hope you’ll make it a part of your annual traditions, too!

Guests will also enjoy a holiday themed cocktail hour, silent auction and presentations from Farm Sanctuary President and Co-founder Gene Baur and National Shelter Director Susie Coston.

Registration is $40 for adults and $25 for children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free. Attendance at this event is limited and it is expected to sell out, so we encourage you to register today!
