Nestled in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York, the rolling green pastures of Farm Sanctuary’s 275-acre New York Sanctuary are home to more than 400 rescued farm animals.
Our 39-acre Southern California Sanctuary — home to approximately 100 rescued farm animals — is located on a beautiful hacienda ranch in Acton, just 45 minutes from Hollywood.
We are back with Farm Sanctuary’s beloved annual event: The Pignic!
This summer celebration is well-loved for its celebration of pigs, time spent at Farm Sanctuary, and experiences of community and connection with fellow guests and farm animals.
“There is no better way to celebrate Independence Day than at Farm Sanctuary — where all living beings can exist freely and peacefully.”
This compassionate holiday event will include opportunities to provide enrichment activities for our pigs, a Fingerlakes Makers Market, and a delicious vegan BBQ provided by Farm Sanctuary’s on-site cafe.
Whether you are a returning Pignic regularor visiting for the first time, this is a great opportunity to experience Farm Sanctuary as we work to provide refuge for animals exploited by factory farms and promote a more just and sustainable food system. We look forward to celebrating with you!
