Adopt Hercules

Hercules is a little goat with a big personality, and he’s as heroic as his name would have you believe.

Once severely neglected at an illegal backyard butcher operation, Hercules defied the odds. When rescuers found Hercules, he was among 113 animals kept in wire cages and denied clean drinking water. But since his rescue, Hercules has become one of the most playful, silly goats at Farm Sanctuary, and our Adopt a Farm Animal members have been crucial in supporting the daily care that’s part of his happy new life. You can be, too!

Be a hero like Hercules. By joining our Adopt a Farm Animal community, you’ll help us care for Hercules and defend all farm animals against cruelty. In thanks, we’ll send you a beautiful adoption certificate perfect for sharing.

You will also help us inspire compassion by telling the stories of these resilient individuals, each one a symbol of hope for billions of farm animals.

With thanks, we will send you a print or digital certificate featuring a photo of your newly adopted friend and their story.

In the freedom and peace of sanctuary, Hercules’ joyful personality shines through. Always happy to see his caregivers, this little goat nudges his way through the herd to greet us—and to make sure he’s among the first to arrive at feeding time.

Hercules has found love, too. He has an adorable crush on Tina goat, and the pair has bonded as they’ve healed from similar pasts. Tina, too, was saved from neglect.

He’s an easygoing guy who gets along with just about everyone in the herd, but he’s often hanging out with Sebastian, Nemo, and Triton.
