In the News: "5 student farmers choose sanctuary over slaughter for the animals they raised"

Because of the bravery of a group of compassionate students at Fullteron High in California, two sheep and three goats will now happily out their lives on sanctuaries.

After a change of heart, five students – who were members of the Future Farmers of America program – signed over their animals to our care instead of sending them to slaughter. And due to the action of these student leaders, Phry and Shawn sheep and Pam, Kevin, and Bruce goats will now get to live the lives they deserve.

The story recently appeared on the front page of the Orange County Register, which goes to a quarter of a million households daily.
