LOS ANGELES – Is it possible to enjoy a satisfying Thanksgiving without sabotaging your healthy lifestyle or causing harm to the sweet, curious birds at its center? Two of the world’s most celebrated ultramarathoners Scott Jurek and Rich Roll, and plant-based dietitian Julieanna Hever—all speakers at this year’s Celebration for the Turkeys, emceed by KTLA’s Lu Parker, November 15 at Farm Sanctuary’s Los Angeles Shelter (5200 Escondido Canyon Road, Acton, CA 93510)—say it’s not only possible, it’s positively life-changing and delicious!

At this uplifting annual event, where turkeys are the guests of honor, not part of the menu, guests will enjoy a decadent meat-free holiday dinner, while enjoying speaker presentations from some of the plant-based movement’s most inspiring voices, including:
