Monthly Live Webinars for K-12 Classrooms

Farm Sanctuary’s humane educators are excited to offer monthly virtual webinar presentations for K-5 and 6-12 classrooms, which will take place throughout the 2025-26 school year! Webinars include grade level appropriate, standards based activities for before and after the presentation-see links below and register today!

Be sure to register for every presentation you plan to attend and at the time that works best for your classroom, making note of the time zones.

These webinar-style presentations were created with Grades K-12 in mind, but teachers of any grade level are welcome to register as well as parents/guardians of homeschool students.

  • Animal Tales: Learn About the Animals of Farm Sanctuary

    Friday, September 19th at 10:00 AM ET & 1:00 PM ET

    [Grades K-5] Farm Sanctuary’s humane educators introduce students to the animals who live at Farm Sanctuary. Students will learn fun facts and will develop empathy for them, understanding that they are all beings who have amazing inner lives, just like us! Download teacher resources here.

  • The Environmental Impacts of Our Food

    Tuesday September 30th at 10:00AM ET & 1:00 PM ET

    [Grades 6-12] This presentation introduces students to the relationship of animal agriculture to climate change, deforestation, water use, and community health, and how increasing plant-based food choices can reduce our environmental “foodprint.” Download teacher resources here.

  • World Animal Day - Animal Tales: A Cow’s Story

    [Grades K-5] In celebration of World Animal Day, Farm Sanctuary’s humane educators introduce students to the cows who live at Farm Sanctuary. Students discover fun facts about cows and learn how each one is special and unique just like us!

    [Grades 6-12] This presentation shares the stories of Farm Sanctuary residents, the realities of our modern food system for animals, humans, and the planet, and how plant-based food choices and reducing consumption of animal products can lessen our impact.

  • Celebration for the Turkeys: Meet the Turkey Flock

    Thursday, November 6th at 11:00AM ET & 2:00 PM ET

    [Grades K-5] In celebration of our annual Celebration of the Turkeys Event, Farm Sanctuary’s humane educators introduce students to the turkeys who live at Farm Sanctuary. Students will discover cool facts about turkeys and learn that they are special and unique and so deserving of our compassion and kindness.

  • Beyond the Feathers: Understanding Turkeys

    Wednesday, November 19th at 11:00AM ET & 1:00 PM ET

    [Grades 6-12] In celebration of our annual Celebration of the Turkeys Event, Farm Sanctuary’s humane educators will introduce students to some of the turkeys who live at Farm Sanctuary. Students will learn about turkey anatomy, turkey behaviors, and some of the groundbreaking research we are doing to help make sure our turkey flock is happy and healthy.

  • Sustainable Future: For Earth, Animals, and Community
